 PopRox offers a range of performance and workshop packages suitable for a wide variety of organisations and events. As Wellington’s premier improvisation company, we specialise in performance inspired by the audience and creating a unique experience for every occasion.

​Our performers are industry professionals, with experience performing at anything from corporate events to small workplace functions. Performance
​PopRox are available for public and private events to bring our trademark hilarious mayhem to you. Improv is the perfect way to bring an interactive and personalised experience to any audience. The work is inspired by what you give us, which means it’s unique to you every time. Our team have performed for events like CubaDupa, Outdoor Improvised Shakespeare at Te Manawa (Palmerston North), and at large scale conferences - and have worked with clients including The New Zealand Principal’s Federation, Wellington Regional and City Councils, and Farrah’s.

Cast: 3-6 performers
Minimum run-time: 45 minutes.
Maximum runtime: 90 minutes (with interval).
Technical Requirements. Mics (for large/outdoor venues) and power and PA for a musician if included. 
Corporate packages available from $800. Community rates apply.

Improv for Team Building and Collaboration
​Improv is a fantastic way to encourage collaboration and a supportive team culture through our “Yes, And” philosophy. Our teachers have run workshops for organisations like Creative HQ (Wellington), Xero and The New Zealand String Quartet, and will provide something bespoke to your team’s needs. 

Workshop length: 1-6 hours.
Participants: 6 to 60 (larger groups will require extra facilitators).
Technical requirements: None. Just a space big enough for your group to move around freely. 
Corporate packages start at $300 for a one-hour workshop and vary by length and number of facilitators required. Community rates and multi-workshop discounts available.

Positive Communications Skills Through Improv
​Aimed at managers and leaders, these workshops teach how improvisation and positive communication can improve team culture and unlock creativity. Improv has been used by companies like Google, Trade Me and Xero to inform their company cultures, and we believe these skills can be useful to a wide range of organisations. 

Workshop Length: 90 minutes to 6 hours. 
Participants: 6 to 30. 
Technical requirements: none. Just a space big enough for your group to move around freely, though a whiteboard can be helpful. 
Corporate packages available from $400 and vary by length and group size. Community rates and multi-workshop discounts available.

MC/Compiering 
Are you looking for a dynamic host for your event who can bring it to life and can adapt to the conditions? PopRox is proud to have some of the country’s finest comedians and MCs in our ranks and they are available for hire. 
Rates and specifics vary depending on the nature and scale of the event, but the New Zealand Comedy Guild’s Recommended Rates will give you an indication of what to expect for corporate enquiries. 

If you’d like to hire one of our team to host your event, please reach out and include as much of the below information as you can:

• The date, time and length of your event. 
• The expected stage-time for the MC/Host.
• The nature and kaupapa of the event (is this a small workshop day for a local business, a Christmas/social function or a large scale conference etc?)
• If you have any specific requirements for your host to participate in (ie they’ll have to commentate a series of party challenges, or take part in a gunge plunge)
